She'll probably tease me when she sees the word "FINALLY"! Every time someone got engaged, I wondered, is it her? But as they say, God operates on His own timetable, not ours, right? In our conversations, she'd often insist, "I'm not having a wedding; it's a waste of money." Well, I love proving this girl wrong. I first crossed paths with her during her early years in education, which, believe it or not, was about a decade ago! (Time flies!)
So guess what? She's finally engaged, finally decided on a real wedding, and finally chose to hire a planner... me! With patience and love, I'm thrilled that she and Josh allowed me to help them start anew.
They opted for no wedding party, just close family. What I admire is how easy it was for both the bride and groom to forgo bridesmaids or groomsmen. They simply didn't have any. Instead, they made sure to include their nieces and nephew in a special way. After all, who is the wedding day really about? The bride and groom, of course! So, let's keep it simple... minimal. However, she did include her sisters and mother in her color scheme, adding a personal touch to their special day.

Before I showcase a few more of their stunning pictures, I have to share a delightful tidbit about Joshua, the groom. You'd expect him to sing at the wedding, right? Well, he didn't, but he did bring along some incredible singers! Let me tell you, they were concert-ready! I became an instant fan! When Olivia made her entrance, I found myself torn on whom to record because the vocalist sounded absolutely unreal. She definitely could have given Chrisette Michele a run for her money!

And, by the way... the singers weren't initially supposed to be behind the curtain, but due to space constraints and large equipment, we improvised and made it #aneW. Surprisingly, it worked out beautifully because the music felt intense and gave off a surreal vibe, almost like it was being played from an audio recording, yet it was happening in real-time. I was absolutely in love with every minute of it.
And then she enters...
Communion went down like this...

As always, how does it feel to be #madeaneW?
